After Crown care and instructions

Your tooth and surrounding tissue may be tender, choose a soft food diet if needed.  You will have a temporary dental crown on your tooth.  This is not meant to be as secure as the permanent crown and will have some limitations;

• Avoid sticky, chewy or hard foods
• Slide floss out instead of up

Avoid sticky foods for 24 hours after permanent crown is placed. Afterwards you may eat, drink and clean your tooth as you did before. The crown and surrounding tissues may be tender or sensitive for the first few weeks while the mouth heals from the work.
